At the Finnish Travel Gala of the Finnish Travel Industry Association, SMAL, in November 2023, awards will be given in nine different categories. Vehkaniemi has been nominated for the category Accommodation of the Year - thanks to whoever of our nice visitors has suggested Vehkaniemi and the jury has even accepted it as meeting the criteria! Nominees for the categories could be nominated by industry professionals and the general public. 'Everyone could nominate candidates, that is, you have been nominated by a customer or otherwise a person who knows you, who thinks you deserve to participate in the vote and possibly receive this title'. Accommodation refers to hotel, hostel and/or cabin accommodation businesses that sell their services in Finland. The proposed must be a single accommodation establishment, not a chain.
