LOCATION
In a culturally historically valuable century-old tradition milieu in a scenic location on the shore of the calm, clean water and rich in fishes lake Vehkajärvi. In the vicinity, there are many nice excursion destinations and outdoor routes, even in the nearby nature.
Frame mattress beds that can be put together or separately. Total beds for 10 persons in this building.
In summer use.
EQUIPPING
The rooms have electricity and small fixed electric heaters. There are no windows in the shed rooms. The doors are equipped with mosquito nets open straight out to the balcony with a view on to the garden-like lawn of the old farmhouse.
Free wifi in the main courtyard area (available with a code).
Excellent running spring water from of the local water cooperative, warm in the outdoor shower and cold eco-toilets.
Pets aren not recommend upstairs. Steep stairs.
VEHKANIEMI ART SUMMER
Art exhibitions and other cultural events are organized in different premises of the Vehkaniemi yard district in summer. Art and local handicrafts for sale. In the summer of 2025, e.g. group exhibition of professional artists from our region.
Art Cafe is open to the public on duty on Sundays in July, and very flexible for guests at other times as well. Snacks and drinks for sale, A-rights - you can enjoy a refreshing drink on the summer terrace, you can also get sauna drinks from here!
Vehkaniemi Summer Art Exhibitions are open to our staying guests every day.
